| Label Description | The purpose of the Energy Efficiency Labeling program is to save energy by enabling consumers to identify high efficiency energy saving type products easily and accordingly encourage manufacturers (importers) to produce and sell energy saving products from the outset. By making the labeling and application of MEPS mandatory, the program enables consumers to identify energy saving products. - Mandatory indication of the energy efficiency grade from the 1st to 5th grade. - Production and sales of those products that fall below the 5thgrade will be prohibited. (Applying MEPS).
