'The China Environmental Label Type I is consisted of the central green moutains, green water and the sun surrounded by ten rings. The center of the graphic represents the environment, and the interlocking ten rings means that the public participation to protect the environment.The label proves that the product is not only quality quantified, but also in accordance with specific environmental protection requirements in the process of production, use and disposal, with environmental advantageds that has lower toxicity and less pollution and uses less resources.

China environmental labeling certification is implemented according to the principles and procedures of ISO 14020 series standards, and is consistent with the environmental labelling program of other countries. Keeping in step with the development of international ecological labelling technology, China actively carried out environmental label recognition,have sined the environmental label recognition agreement with Germany, South Forea, Japan and Australia.The label can help Chinese businesses to across the green technical barriers.

To promote the implementation of sustainable production, on October 24 2006, Chinese Ministry of Finance and the State Environmental Protection Administration jointly issued "Suggestions on the implementation of government procurement of environmental labeling products",stated the state organs, institutions and organizations at all levels using fiscal capital to purchase, shall give priority to environmental labeling products, shall not purchase products that endanger the environment and human health. On June 3 2007, against the serious situation of the national energy conservation and emission reduction, the State Council issued the "Notice of comprehensive work plan for energy conservation and emissions reduction", including article 45 stipulates clearly that must strengthen the institutions of government's energy conservation and green procurement, conscientiously implement the "Suggestions on the implementation of government procurement of environmental labeling products", further improve  the system of government procurement environment labeling product list, constantly expand the scope of government procurement of environmental labeling product. China environmental labeling has become an important mean to promote national circular economy strategy.
